Behind the Name: Aeryith is Dara Berry’s gamer presence and pen name. Most of her online (and real life) friends know her by this name. Oh, and before you ask, no, the name is not from Aeris from Final Fantasy 7.

Dara attended college at IUPUI in the School of Informatics, Media Arts & Science with an emphasis in web programming and interactive development. She graduated in May 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Media Arts and Science from Indiana University. She also comes with a certificate in Applied Computer Science from Purdue University.

With a perpetual positive attitude, she will brighten up any day and will take on any challenge and deadline. She loves her Flash and ActionScript 3 as well as coffee, salmon sushi and fuzzy socks. You’ll usually find her hanging out with fellow gamers and people who know a little too much Star Trek trivia.

Dara is excited to be  a web marketing analyst with Consona. She enjoys working on SEO, SEM and improving front-end site performance though her knowledge of web programming and tools such as Google Analytics, Web Master Tools, Xenu and more.

Did you know: At 12, she made her first game in Visual Basic on her Commodore 64. When she was 13 she mowed lawns to pay for AOL, kickin’ it with her blazing fast 56k modem. She taught herself HTML and hasn’t stopped learning about the internet since.
